Lean how to care for the trees in your landscape from Certified Arborist, Ben Hartranft. During this workshop, you will learn basic tree care techniques including proper tree selection, planting practices, proper pruning and watering considerations. This workshop includes a live tree care demonstration to help you prepare to bring your new knowledge to your home landscape.

Please bring weather appropriate outerwear.  

Ben Hartranft is an Arborist Representative with Bartlett Tree Experts and a lifelong Pennsylvania resident. He discovered arboriculture after graduating from college. He has 13 years of experience in arboriculture with Bartlett learning from the ground up. As an ISA Certified Arborist and a plant health care specialist, he takes pride in delivering quality tree care with exceptional customer service. Ben’s “hands-on” approach to arboriculture and his eagerness to learn, coupled with Bartlett’s scientific approach to tree care make him a valuable resource to his clients. Ben is happily married to his wife Tracey and has a two year old son named Lincoln. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and is a beginning bonsai enthusiast.
