Project WET Teacher Workshop
Saturday, March 24, 2018, 9:30 am–3:30 pm
Join educators at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for a one-day hands-on workshop on how to incorporate the Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) curriculum into your classroom. Project WET is an award winning non-profit water education program. The program educates K-12 students on the basic science of water, and the roles it plays in various ecosystems and human life. Project WET uses hands-on, multi-disciplinary and easy-to-use activities that promote problem solving and collaboration in the classroom. This workshop is offered free of charge thanks to a generous grant from the EQT Foundation.
Participants will receive
- A copy of the Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0
- Six Pennsylvania Act-48 hours
- Complimentary Lunch
- A chance to participate in hands-on activities at the Garden
Who should attend?
This workshop is open to both K-12 formal and informal educators, as well as pre-service teachers. It is ideal for educators looking to incorporate more science into their classroom.
