Film Screening:  Cathedral, the Fight to Save the Hemlocks of Cook Forest.

View the short film, “Cathedral:  the Fight to Save the Hemlocks of Cook Forest,” by Wild Excellence Films, and learn about the fight to save the hemlock, our State tree, from the ravages of the hemlock woolly adelgid, an insect pest. A Service Forester from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation of Natural Resources will talk about the frontline battle against these plant pests that are threatening our native flora. All proceeds from this event go towards the efforts to treat hemlocks in Cook Forest.
