Garden Travel Program: Philadelphia Flower Show

Join Pittsburgh Botanic Garden as we explore the annual Philadelphia Flower Show! It is sure to be a colorful event as the theme, “Flower Power,” ties in the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock. Along the way, enjoy guided tours of Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library as well as Longwood Gardens.
Cost includes tickets to the Philadelphia Flower Show, admission and guided tours at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and Longwood Gardens, lodging for two nights, transportation via Motor Coach that includes restrooms and comfortable reclining seats, one breakfast, two lunches, and one dinner. Friday, March 8
7:30 a.m. Tour bus departs from Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
1 p.m. Arrive at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, Winterthur, Delaware. The visit includes lunch at the Garden, a guided tour, and time to explore on your own
4 p.m. Depart for Philadelphia
5:30 p.m. Check into the Marriott Courtyard Philadelphia Downtown Hotel located adjacent to the Philadelphia Flower Show located in the Pennsylvania Convention Center
6 p.m. Dinner, included
Saturday, March 9
A full day on your own to explore the Philadelphia Flower Show and the city.
Tickets to the Flower Show will be provided. Our knowledgeable guides are happy
to give recommendations for a wide range of activities and restaurants in the city.
Sunday, March 10
8 a.m. Breakfast & check out of the hotel
9 a.m. Depart for Longwood Gardens
10 a.m. Arrive at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. The visit includes lunch at the Garden, a guided tour, and time to explore on your own
2 p.m. Depart for Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
8 p.m. Arrive at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
Tour Payment Policy:
Full payment must be received in order to reserve your place on the tour. Payment must be received by February 1, 2019. No refund will be issued if the individual cancels after February 1, 2019. Substitute individuals can fill the space. If Pittsburgh Botanic Garden cancels for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
