Improve your balance and well being through a beginner level Tai Chi class at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Tai Chi uses gentle flowing movements to stretch and strengthen your body while focusing your mind. Join Gurney Bolster, founder of Tai Chi for Health Pittsburgh, for a class overlooking our beautiful Lotus Pond. No equipment or experience is needed. Summer sessions are being held May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18 and September 15. Drop in for one class, or come for the whole series. 

Online registration has been added for your convenience, and to ensure a quick check in for class. As this program takes place outdoors, we strongly recommend registering for this event the night before or the morning of the program, after checking the weather. Any cancellations/refunds initiated by the registrant need a minimum of 48 hours notice. If the Garden cancels the program due to inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on our website and Facebook page 1 hour before class, and refunds will be issued automatically to all participants during the business week. 

Please check in at the Welcome Desk before walking to the Lotus Pond.
