Garden of the Five Senses – Construction to Begin in 2019

Visitors of all ages and abilities will appreciate Garden of the Five Senses, a beautiful play-inspiring landscape of trees, plants, rocks, logs and places for exploring. Anchored by an education pavilion, there will be five integrated areas specially designed to appeal to all the senses. Raised beds, natural containers and other elements will promote hands-on nature play.

This garden will be a therapeutic place for all but especially for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. With input from experts, this thoughtful garden design provides tactile stimulation to create a positive, encouraging learning place for these special children and their families.
