    Blocks and Rocks Nature Play Program at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

    Come to the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden to discover and play. Bins of colorful LEGO® DUPLO® blocks will be combined with natural materials (rocks, sticks, pinecone etc) to encourage nature-based play, development of fine motor skills and social interaction. Blocks and Rocks takes place in our indoor classroom space to provide nature play regardless of the weather. An outdoor “I-spy” game will be provided for each participant to explore the garden following the program.Price: free for members, free with paid admissionAges: 3 to 7 years (***adult supervision required****) Note: small pieces may be included. Younger and older siblings permitted at discretion of parents and program staff (please consider safety and program quality for all participants)Cancelation policy: The program may be canceled due to inclement weather.
