COVID-19 closure
April 27, 2020 | ANNOUNCEMENTS
Dear Members and Friends,
No doubt, we’re all feeling a bit disconnected these days. While the Garden continues to be closed to help stop the spread of COVID-19, we miss sharing spring with you in person. We will continue to use our social media and website, and enjoy seeing what’s blooming in your garden and neighborhood.
During this time of great uncertainty our work has changed and in some ways become even more important. A garden is a refuge and place of beauty and serenity and we need to make sure it is ready for your return. Essential spring gardening is happening as is reforestation of the mine site. New remote visit and learning tools are coming on-line so we can all enjoy the Garden from afar. Anxious brides are being assured that we have dates available later this year. And, our leadership team is listening and learning from our members and partners as they raise critically needed funds, prepare to reopen and resume construction.
We will continue to do all we can during these times. We know that you are doing your part as well. We ask that you:
Thank you for your continued support.
