Join Doug Oster from Gardening with Doug, and Dr. Mark Miller, Education & Exhibits Director, for a walk through the gardens and woods of Pittsburgh Botanic Garden to view and learn about the wondrous plants found here. There should be a copious amount of witty banter and plant-nerdy conversations for all to enjoy. Our focus this time is on plants that shine in late winter/early spring!
The tour will be followed by a delicious lunch featuring seasonal produce, made by Slade Mankins, the Garden’s celebrated chef. During lunch, Doug and Mark will highlight spring-blooming bulbs that are starting to strut their stuff. Doug will wax lyrical about his favorite seasonal plants and produce – and will have some seeds/seedlings of lesser-known gems.
