Dandy & Divine Dogwoods: Walk & Talk

One of the superstars of Allegheny Plateau plants is flowering dogwood (Cornus florida). With its showy springtime blooms, red berries and good fall color, this native beauty provides ornamental interest and wildlife support throughout the year. Join Dr. Mark Miller, Education & Exhibits Director, for a walk to see some of the 500+ flowering dogwoods at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden – in all of their spring glory. The walk will be followed by a talk about the dogwood family of attractive trees and shrubs that grow well in western PA. Each attendee has a chance to win a unique dogwood shrub door prize!
