Garden Discovery Day

Celebrate World Environment Day with Pittsburgh Botanic Garden and Hope Grows! This Garden Discovery Day will visit the Hope Grows Iris Respite House in Moon Township. Members will meet the founder of Hope Grows, Lisa Story, and tour their therapeutic landscapes and thoughtfully-designed havens of tranquility, inspiration, reflection and healing.

In total, Hope Grows has 11 distinct gardens, each with a unique character and purpose, specifically created to engage the senses, ignite your inner child, inspire intent and offer an oasis of rest. Each garden offers its unique healing and restorative properties, along with suggested therapeutic activities designed to help you connect with the energy of the earth, engage with the present moment, and experience the beauty and peace of nature.
