May Day

Celebrate the European holiday, May Day, with games and crafts at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden! May Day is an ancient festival that marks the beginning of Summer, halfway between the Spring equinox and June solstice. Crafts and games available will be inspired by May Day traditions, such as creating floral garlands and dancing around a Maypole. This drop-in falls during the Garden’s “Dogwood Days”, and these native trees will also serve as inspiration for the morning’s activities.
