Event Details

What makes a good nature photo? How can you make great photos even better? These are the basic questions that renowned photographer, Scott Goldsmith, will explore in the gardens and woodlands of Pittsburgh Botanic Garden in its uniquely beautiful winter splendor. Techniques described will include working in a blind and remote camera work – using your mind as an important tool will be emphasized over technical/equipment topics. Geared toward intermediate and advanced photographers. All attendees must bring a camera with a removable compact flash card or SD card (no smart phones). Dress for the weather as the class includes indoor instruction, outdoor field work and class critique.

Masks and social distancing are required in all indoor spaces at the Garden.
