Pittsburgh Botanic Garden Members, supporters, and staff gathered to celebrate the opening of the Garden of the Five Senses with a Garland Cutting Ceremony on July 30, 2020.

Joining Keith S. Kaiser, Executive Director, to cut the garland was Nelson Craige, Member of the Board of Directors; Cindy Tyler, Principal, Terra Design; Rep. Valerie Gaydos; Rep. Anita Kulik; and grandchildren Carol Zagrocki, for whom the Soothing Sounds section was donated in memory of.

After brief remarks, the group explored the new garden feature. Adults and kids viewed blooms through the kaleidoscope, played the flower drum, found caterpillars on the milkweed and dug in the sand.

The Garden of the Five Senses is included with Daily Admission to Pittsburgh Botanic Garden.
