Tai Chi Qigong at the Garden

Tai Chi and Qigong are ancient Chinese wellness practices rooted in the Daoist philosophy of living in harmony with nature. This program is instructed by Gurney Bolster, founder of Tai Chi for Health Pittsburgh.

Yoga at the Garden

Join certified instructors from Yoga H’Om to improve flexibility, strength and the mind-body connection. Yoga is held on the boardwalk next to the Lotus Pond, or indoors in the case of inclement weather. All levels of experience welcome!

Forest Bathing: A Guided, Restorative Woodland Walk

This guided walk through the woodlands is intended to utilize the senses to experience nature’s soothing, refreshing effects. Doug Jones, certified Forest Therapy Guide, will provide participants with the opportunity to recollect and embody their sense of being at home in nature and with themselves.

Community Acupuncture

Community Acupuncture is a means to provide affordable acupuncture, in terms of both money and time. Join the certified, experienced staff from Nourish and Move PGH for community acupuncture sessions every other Saturday at the Garden. Sessions are 30 minutes long.

Sound Bath Meditation

A sound bath is a guided meditation with a focus on the sounds of quartz “singing bowls” which stimulate the brain and help you to feel balanced.
