You may have heard of birds of prey, but how about predatory insects? What role do they play in ecosystems? Learn about two predatory insects that have an ancient life history as well as the plants: Common Cattail (Typha latifolia) and the American Lotus (Nelumbo lutea). Meet the dragonfly and the damselfly on exhibit at the garden. Join a Pittsburgh Botanic Garden Educator for this engaging program that will get you moving and spark your imagination through an aquatic food chain activity!
