Did you know that spiders have been the focus of stories and mythologies of various cultures for centuries? Spiders are not insects or pollinators, but they are incredibly beneficial. Enjoy a hands-on craft and Join Heather, Pittsburgh Botanic Garden Educator, to learn about the spider, the White Oak (Quercus alba), the Sunflower (Helianthus) and what you can do to help beneficial Arachnids, insects and animals.

This drop-in program is free with regular daily admission.
Registration is not required to attend, but nonmembers will need to pay daily admission at the Welcome Desk upon arrival. Garden members may visit and attend drop-in programs for free – become a member today!
