Join Keith S. Kaiser, Executive Director, and Doug Oster from Gardening with Doug, for a walk through our gardens and woodlands to view and learn about various fascinating parts of the Garden. Walk & Talks begin with an introductory educational session, after which the class departs from the Welcome Center to explore the Garden. This walking tour portion will be followed by a plant-based lunch to conclude the program.
Each Walk & Talk has a unique focus around which the information will be structured. For details about upcoming topics and times, please view the calendar below.
Program fee includes lunch and all-day admission to the Garden.
Join Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s Education Director, Dr. Mark Miller, for a deep dive into the exciting worlds of gardening, different plant species and their roles in the ecosystem, animals’ relationships with plants, practical ways to use plants in your everyday life and much more!
These one hour educational lectures are an excellent way to engage with the environment and learn useful skills to apply in your homes and gardens.
