Birds have plenty to say in autumn. While many birds can be tricky to spot, their sounds can be a helpful tool for identification. Learn to listen for and identify birds by their songs, calls, and chips during fall migration. We’ll start with a short indoor presentation, then explore the garden on a guided walk to practice identifying the resident and migrating birds we encounter. Whether you are new to birding or looking to sharpen your skills, this program offers a chance to discover a new way to connect with the birds around you. Please dress appropriately for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and bring a pair of binoculars if you have them.
