Event Details

Did you know insect sounds have been the inspiration for a variety of forms of music throughout history? Join Heather Forsythe, Seasonal Educator at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, for an introduction to the sounds of the season and an evening drum circle while enjoying community and peace in the garden. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided, or you may bring your own. No drumming experience necessary – all are welcome!

This drop-in program is free with regular daily admission.


Registration is not required to attend, but nonmembers will need to pay daily admission at the Welcome Desk upon arrival. Garden members may visit and attend drop-in programs for free – become a member today!
