Event Details

Celebrate Earth Day, the Garden’s Dogwood Days and Arbor Day by learning more about western Pennsylvania’s terrific native plants. Not only do these beauties form the foundation of our local ecosystems and support wildlife, but native trees and shrubs are genetically hardwired to flourish in our gardens. Join us as Education Director, Dr. Mark Miller, highlights some of his favorite native plants that fulfill whatever function you need – from establishing shade to screening unsightly views, from creating curb appeal to adding unique plants of interest.
